Freelance Photography
Based in Sydney Australia, Chris Bray is
available as a freelance cameraman / photographer for assignments the world
over, as well as Australian photo shoots for magazines, catalogues, tourism and
travel agencies etc.
He is Canon’s
Ambassador for digital photography in Australia, and his photographs have
won TIME
magazine competitions, been bought by tourism commissions and high profile magazines, used in
calendars, filed in stock libraries, displayed in galleries and
exhibitions, and used as product
promotional photos. Sponsored by Canon EOS and Lowepro, he has been profiled in photography magazines, travelled
down to Antarctica as guest photographer aboard a cruise-ship, presented
lectures on photography, and has the honour of being the first photographer
that Australian Geographic magazine has ever sent on assignment overseas.
Chris's expeditions have allowed him to
tune his photography skills in the most demanding and inspiring of situations.
Often on the move, Chris practices travelling light and capturing photographs
as efficiently as possible using natural lighting - avoiding the need for
clumsy lights, reflectors and associated unnecessary setup delays.
After the photo shoot or assignment,
Chris's extensive computer and webpage skills enable him to streamline the
process of making any fine adjustments in Adobe Photoshop and uploading samples
online for the client to review within hours.
In addition to photography, Chris has
experience in journalistic writing - having been employed as a photo-journalist
for a number of assignments including sailing onboard the world's 'most famous

He has written feature articles for various magazines and newspapers (Click here to read

been translated into French for overseas audiences.
