Chris Bray is a leading outdoor photographer and photography teacher based in Sydney, running 1 day photography courses in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane and Auckland New Zealand. Canon's Ambassador for digital photography as well as their online tutorial host, his photographs have won TIME magazine competitions, been bought by tourism commissions, used in calendars and more. Sponsored by Canon EOS and Lowepro, Chris has travelled to Antarctica as guest photographer and in 2009 became the first photographer that Australian Geographic ever sent on assignment overseas. The One Day Photography Course on Sunday at Melbourne zoo was another exceptionally early start – 7am. Lucky that most of the course attendees were naturals at being up that early because as everyone knows, early morning lighting is always beautiful! We just got back from running our 'Photographers Dream' – A 5 day photographic safari down the East Coast of Tasmania complete with every mode of transport one could conceive, enabling the very best photographic opportunities.
